FIRST 100 DAYS OF NEW GREEN CONGRESS (NGC) PARTY IN POWER, OUR GOALS

We present before you today (30/07/2024) with a heavy heart, but also with hope and determination, in line with our situations. Our beloved nation faces unprecedented economic challenges that demands patriotic, fresh, bold leaders who would carry out decisive action. NGC president, would be committed to leading by example and making the difficult decisions necessary to put Nigeria back on the path to prosperity. Effective immediately, on the day of inauguration , he would be announcing a 50% reduction in salaries and all other emoluments, a long with all members of his team (NGC governors, House of Assembly members, Ministers and other aides, while NGC president would call other top government officials from other parties to follow suit. We dare make it clear that, we who have been entrusted with leadership must be the first to make sacrifices for the good of our nation. In the spirit of fiscal responsibility, we would announce series of measures that would make NIGERIA greatest again, including:
1. The Office of the First Lady will be immediately scrapped. This is to abate unwarranted expenditures and funds from the scrape would be purged into Education.
2. We would sell off several presidential abandoned cars, buildings, aircraft and others, that are currently idle, retaining only those essential for official duties. The proceeds from all these would be put into Hospital equipments.
3. Government ministries will be consolidated into 28 ministries, with 28 Ministers to reduce costs. The proceeds from these actions on monthly bases would be plunged into pensioners take home, in such that, they would retire with their take home, as if they are still working.
4. Fuel would be subsided by 30% to benefit our people and discourages smuggling across our boundaries. And electricity would also be subsidies by 40% to provide immediate relief to our citizens, while we open up series of partnership with private sectors in distribution to avoid monopoly. We would also continue to work on long-term solutions to our energy challenges.
5. All government officials will be mandated to use locally manufactured products, including automobiles, to support our domestic industries and reduce foreign exchange outflows. These and money more shall be profers within 100 days of NGC governance amongst many hidden strategies we have in stock. These are just the first steps in our comprehensive plan to cut the cost of governance and redirect resources to critical areas of need.
6. The implementation of a comprehensive e-governance system to reduce bureaucracy and improve efficiency, would be enshrined, immediately.
7. A review and renegotiation of all government contracts to ensure value for money.
8. The introduction of a performance based budgeting system (Score card system) to ensure that every naira spent and utilized delivers tangible results that are verifiable, transparent and accountable to our people.
9. NGC intends to abolishing indigeneship as a craterial for employment at all tiers of government, but instead citizenship. The immigration service, custom service and the forensic hospital management agency would be established to ascertain new Green card for all Nigerian verified one off citizens. This Green Card would be unique for everyone as it would be multifaceted in purpose and can only be used by the owner only.
10. Effective immediately, we would ban completely without exception, foreign trips for medical treatment for all government officials. We would immediately commenced equipping of our indigenous Teaching, specialists, general and healthcare hospital/centers, with state of the earth health facilities and continual training and retraining for health workers. This measure will not only save foreign exchange but also demonstrate our commitment to improving our healthcare system.
11. We are already the first political party that abolished the obstacles that prevents youth from participating actively in politics. We deliberately abolished money politics by ensuring our nominations form are Free and our campaign financial resources is from the party purse, not individuals or godfather's pocket. These singular act is a turning point and first of it's kind.
12. We ask all NIGERIANS that truly love this country to give us an opportunity to serve this country of ours. We pledge to offer our best capabilities to bring NIGERIA into the committee of great Nations (God's willing).
Thanks NIGERIANS.
Signed. Idris Abdulkarim A National Chairman
